What do you get when you combine quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship?
Impeccably made, gorgeous furniture that will last a lifetime–and then some. Seriously.
We’re talking about this-is-the-last-table-you’ll-ever-have-to-buy kind of durability.
Here’s the deal. Mass-produced furniture is often cheaper to purchase because it is constructed as efficiently as possible (hello, machine-made!) with cheap materials (particle board, veneers, MDF), and probably cheap labor, too. That’s NEVER a good combination.
“Fast furniture” may be more affordable up front, but you’ll end up spending more in the long run when you start having to replace things every few years.
At The Amish Craftsman, we’re not fans of any kind of production shortcuts or quality compromises.
That’s why every piece of furniture we sell is made-to-order by our skilled craftsmen whose skills have been honed and perfected for generations.
Every piece is made from SOLID WOOD like red oak, maple, cherry, hickory, white oak, or walnut. Instead of the cheaper alternative of glue and nails, SUPERIOR WOOD JOINERY TECHNIQUES like mortise-and-tenon are used to solidly connect pieces of wood together. One more thing, everything is finished flawlessly BY HAND.
It may take a little longer, but the end result is a truly one-of-a-kind, heirloom piece of furniture– made to your exact specifications–that can be passed on to your children or your grandchildren (and probably your great-children, too!).
It’s that durable, really.
