With thousands of fabrics and hundreds of leathers to choose from, you’ll be sure to find the perfect fit for your home and lifestyle.
With Smith Brothers of Berne sofas, loveseats and conversation sofas, you can pick your style, configuration, and customize pillows, back styles, legs, wood finish, and nailhead.
Most sofas are also available as loveseats and also have matching chairs and ottomans. Sofa lengths include 70-79”, 80-89” and 90-99”.
You can pick from an existing design (Smith Brothers offers more than 40) and create your own living room combination using sofas, loveseats, chairs and ottomans. Or, build your own from the “Design Your Way” series including the 3000, 5000, 8000, and Style & Comfort Series to create your own sectional. You can select your leg (tapered or turned), the arm (panel, deco, or banded) and your back (semi-attached or pullover). You can also choose standard or feather down for your back and cushions depending on the comfort you want to achieve. We offer a variety of leathers and carry an abundant selection of fabric options, too.

Our Smith Brothers fabric samples are made to represent the direction they will be applied to furniture. For example, a fabric that is represented as a vertical stripe on the sample will be applied as a vertical stripe on the furniture.

The process is simple. First, you pick your design – either from our showroom or from our catalogue. Next, you pick your fabric or leather and the finishing touches like nailhead color. Lastly, we finalize your order and send it Smith Brothers who will begin construction. Then it’s just a matter of time before you receive your custom made Smith Brothers furniture. Most importantly, we will walk with you every step of the way. We know this decision is an important one, and we want to help you find your best fit!
Our lead time for custom-built Smith Brothers furniture in the Houston area is usually around 6-8 weeks. We know that you are anxious to start enjoying your new Smith Brothers furniture and we make every effort to get your furniture to you as soon as possible. However, quality does take some time. Your handcrafted furniture is not built until you place the order. Each piece is built for you and built to last.
