Handcrafted For You
Are you looking to create a living room that perfectly reflects your unique style and way of life? At The Amish Craftsman, we turn that dream into reality with our custom-built living room furniture. Unlike mass-produced furniture, our pieces are handcrafted by skilled Amish carpenters who take pride in creating heirloom-quality furniture that will last for generations.
The Amish way of life is steeped in tradition, and their furniture reflects that heritage. For generations, Amish families have passed down woodworking skills and a commitment to quality that has resulted in furniture known for its beauty and durability. At The Amish Craftsman, a family-owned business established in 2006, we bring this legacy to Houston.
We opened The Amish Craftsman after our home was destroyed in a flood. Impressed by the quality of Amish furniture we encountered during the rebuilding process, we made it our mission to share these timeless pieces with others. Since then, we have built lasting relationships with Amish carpenters, whom we consider family. These carpenters produce every piece of furniture we sell.
We offer a wide range of living room furniture options, including sofas, love seats, sectionals, chairs, coffee tables, end tables, sofa tables, rockers, gliders, recliners, ottomans, TV stands, and media centers. But what truly sets us apart is the level of customization we provide. You can choose from a variety of styles, everything from classic to contemporary, to find the perfect match for your existing décor. We also offer a vast selection of wood species, finishes, and hardware to allow you to personalize your furniture down to the finest detail.
Once you’ve finalized your design choices, our skilled craftsmen will get to work on building your furniture to your exact specifications. We use only the finest materials and traditional woodworking techniques to ensure that your furniture is not only beautiful but also incredibly durable. The lead time for custom furniture is typically around 12-16 weeks, but the wait will be well worth it when you see your dream living room come to life.
Your living room can be more than just a space; it can be a haven for creating memories. Picture evenings spent laughing with loved ones on a handcrafted Amish sofa, its plush cushions worn comfortable over time. Envision game nights around a solid wood coffee table, its surface etched with friendly competition. Amish furniture isn’t just décor; it’s a sturdy foundation for countless stories to unfold. These handcrafted pieces become more than furniture; they become silent witnesses to the laughter, tears, and everyday moments that make your house a home.
